Products and stock
Here's what we make, how to tell whether your hound's size is in stock, and what happens when a print sells out. You'll also find Warmth Factor explained, tees for humans, how to stock Hound-Tees in your shop and where it's all made.
Do you have this in my dog's size?
If you can add your hound's size to the cart, we have it, because what you see on the website is all the stock there is. We make in short runs, so once a size sells out there isn't a spare one tucked away out the back.
On some styles a sold-out size still shows in the size options, and choosing it brings up a 'SOLD OUT - GET NOTIFIED' button. Pop your email address in there and you'll hear from us if that size is restocked.
It's always worth asking, though, because we can sometimes make a sold-out size to order from leftover fabric. Email aroo@houndtees.com.au with the product and your hound's breed fit and size, and we'll let you know if we can make one. If we can, allow 10 working days for it to be made.
If you're not sure which size you need, the size finder on our size chart page works it out from your hound's chest and length.

Will this be back in stock?
Usually the honest answer is that it won't be. We make in short runs, and once a print sells out it generally isn't remade, so what's on the website is all the stock there is.
A fabric does sometimes come back even when the print has gone, and if there's leftover fabric we can sometimes make your size to order. Email aroo@houndtees.com.au with the product and your hound's breed fit and size, and we'll tell you what's possible.
If choosing your size brings up a 'SOLD OUT - GET NOTIFIED' button, pop your email in to hear if it's restocked.
New prints come out regularly, and our email list is the way to hear about them. And if the design you loved was a graphic printed onto the tee, we can usually still print it onto a current garment.

What do you make?
We make dog clothes in greyhound, whippet and Italian greyhound fits (which suit plenty of other breeds too), plus a few things for the humans on the other end of the lead. The range includes:
- Sleeveless and long sleeve tees, cut snug like activewear
- Tweaters, our midweight layer in French terry
- Sweaters, the warmest, cut roomier to go over a tee
- Long Johns, which cover all four legs
- Snoods, for a little extra warmth around the neck
- The Made to Order UV Dog Sun Suit, for all breeds
- Human tees, printed to order
- Merch and gifts for hound people
- Fashound Fix paw balm and Snoot Scrub, made by Livskraft, a Tasmanian maker
If you can't see what you're after, ask us at aroo@houndtees.com.au. A lot of what we make started as somebody's email, and some things can be made to measure.
Will you ever make something I can't find? Can I suggest it?
Quite possibly, and yes, please suggest it. A lot of what we make started as somebody's email, so send your idea to aroo@houndtees.com.au.
We're a small crew making short runs, so we can't promise which ideas get made, or when.
In the meantime, one of our old graphics can usually be printed onto a current garment, and if it's something for one particular hound, ask us about custom made-to-measure work.

Which Hound-Tee is the warmest?
Our sweaters are the warmest thing we make. They're cut a little roomier on purpose, so on properly cold days they go over a tee or Long Johns, and that layering beats any single garment.
Each garment's product page shows its Warmth Factor, so you can compare styles at a glance: the higher the number, the warmer it is.
Stick with your hound's usual size in a sweater. The extra room is already built in, so there's no need to size up to layer. Our warmth guide to tees, Tweaters and sweaters has more on choosing the right weight.

Can I stock Hound-Tees in my shop?
Yes, we'd love to hear from you. We're taking on independent stockists around the world, and the place to start is the application form on our wholesale page.
We work with independent pet shops and boutiques, shops with a sighthound or rescue connection, groomers, vets and daycares with a retail corner, and online stores that serve sighthound owners.
Fill in the application and we'll get back to you. If you'd like to ask something before you apply, email aroo@houndtees.com.au.

Do you make matching tees for humans?
We do, though the range is small and it changes. You'll find what's available now in our human tees collection.
Our human tees are AS Colour blanks that we print to order here at Hound-Tees HQ. Each listing shows how long yours will take before it's posted, and because it's printed just for you, it's worth double-checking your colour and print choices before you check out.
If you'd love a human version of a print you can't see in the collection, email aroo@houndtees.com.au and we'll tell you whether it can be done.

What does the Warmth Factor rating mean?
Warmth Factor is the number on each garment's product page that tells you how warm it is, and the higher the number, the warmer the garment.
Sleeveless tees are a 1, our lightest layer, and long sleeve tees are a 2. Tweaters, sweaters and Long Johns are warmer again, so check the number on the product page you're looking at. Our sweaters are the warmest thing we make.
As a rough guide, at 15°C (60°F) or below it's time to pop a tee on your hound, and if you need a long sleeve or a jumper, they probably do too. On colder days, layer a sweater over a tee.

Where are Hound-Tees made?
Hound-Tees are Australian made, and our workshop is in Euroa, Victoria. We're a small business with a small crew and lots of love for dogs (sighthounds are our favourite).
The workshop isn't open to the public, but we can arrange a visit by appointment, 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. Email aroo@houndtees.com.au to book, and see visiting the workshop for more.
