Returns & Exchange Policy
We hope you luff your Hound-Tees, but if you need to exchange your goodies, you can return them to us within 14 days of receiving your order. Items returned outside this period are only accepted if they are faulty.
Please return your products to us in the condition in which they arrived; this means unwashed and free from doggo glitter (fur or dander) on both sides of the garment.
Our small business makes a limited number of each style, so we ask that you be mindful of this when you purchase, as we cannot guarantee stock availability. Full-priced items can be returned for an online credit (valid for three years), excluding shipping costs.
You can return items purchased during a fundraiser or promo for the same value you bought them at, excluding shipping costs. Discounted Sale items, including Lucky Lasts, Mystery Tees, Sample/Seconds, and Custom-Fit items, are non-refundable.
Gift vouchers are non-refundable but are valid for up to three years from the date of purchase for use on any item in our online store.
Return Conditions - Hound-Tees must be returned:
- Within 14 days of receiving your items.
- In the condition that they arrived in.
- Unwashed and free from doggo glitter (fur or dander) inside and outside the garment.
How to Exchange Your Hound-Tees
- Ensure your items meet the above return conditions. Email us at aroo@houndtees.com.au with your invoice # number and your exchange or refund request.
- Once we receive your item, we will notify you of your online credit or exchange approval or rejection. If approved, your online credit will be issued. If your request is declined, we'll discuss the next steps with you.
- Send us your tracking number so we can reserve your requested items (subject to availability and the condition of your items upon their return to Hound-Tees.)
- Include a pre-paid postage satchel for us to post your items in. We’ll provide an invoice for a flat-rate shipping fee if this is not provided. This invoice must be paid before we dispatch your items.
Note: We're not liable for parcels that get lost in transit back to us. We highly recommend using Express Post or parcels with tracking.
What if my exchange is of greater/lesser value than my returned item(s)? Greyt question! If your exchange is of greater value than your returned item(s), you'll be required to pay the balance of your order before we dispatch your items. If your exchange is of lesser value than your returned item(s), we’ll refund you the difference via your original payment method.
If your replacement style is out of stock, we’ll issue you an online credit to find something else from the collection you luff.
What if I’m returning an item because it’s faulty? Eek, we're sorry. While we pride ourselves on quality control for each garment, we are just hoomans who sometimes make mistakes. Email us immediately with a description and picture of the fault, and we will work with you to find a pawfect solution.
Alterations and Repairs
We are really proud of the Hound-Tees we make. We lovingly cut and sew each Tee in our small workshop in Melbourne, Victoria.
We know that sometimes, in the rough and tumble of doggo life, things can go wrong, so if you get a hole, spring a leak, or split ya pants, we can fix it for you. We can also make most styles smaller, shorter, or even, in some cases, larger!
If you want to take advantage of our repair or alteration service, you only need to send us your Hound-Tee and a reply paid satchel at this address so we can fix or alter your Tee and send it back.
We don't charge for repairs but ask that you make a small donation to our rescue friends, Gumtree Greys. Donations over $2 are tax deductible.
